Outreach & Charity Work
At CSI Christ Church – Virugambakkam, outreach and charity are central to our mission of living out the love of Christ in action. Across all fellowships—Men’s, Women’s, and Young Couples—our church actively engages in serving the community and reaching the unreached with compassion and purpose.
Community Support
- We regularly visit and extend care to the blind, differently abled, children’s homes, and homes for the aged.
- Our Women’s Fellowship conducts charitable initiatives such as free marriages for poor couples and seasonal aid during Christmas.
- We organize medical camps, tuition classes, and prayer support for underprivileged children and families in various villages.
Village Ministry
- Through our village outreach programs, we visit families, pray for their needs, and share the Gospel.
- A dedicated team from the Men’s and Young Couples Fellowships visit mission fields like Jamunamarathur, Vaishali Nagar, Mangattuchery, and Saalamangalam, offering hope, prayer, and practical support.
- A church has been built and dedicated in Vaishali Nagar, and construction is underway for another church in Saalamangalam.
Evangelism and Mission
- Monthly mission visits are conducted, reaching people in remote areas with God’s Word through personal visits, songs of praise, testimonies, and prayer.
- Our fellowships organize Friday night prayer meetings with a focus on mission and evangelism.
- Every fourth Sunday is designated as Mission Week, especially for the Men’s Fellowship, with outreach initiatives supported by volunteers.
Together, we aim to serve, support, and transform lives in our community and beyond. Every act of charity, every prayer, and every outreach is rooted in our call to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15).
