History
Established in 1979, CSI Christ Church Nursery & Primary School is a co-educational English-medium institution. The school offers classes from LKG to Standard V, and is led by a diverse, experienced management team along with dedicated, qualified teachers.
About Us
CSI Christ Church Nursery & Primary School is a privately managed, unaided institution located in the urban area of Virugambakkam, under the Anna Nagar block, Chennai District, Tamil Nadu. The school runs classes from Grades I to V, with an attached pre-primary section. English is the medium of instruction, and the academic year begins in June.
With a current strength of 175 students, our mission is to provide value-based education, nurturing both academic excellence and holistic growth through co-curricular opportunities.
Infrastructure
- The school operates in its own building with 7 well-maintained classrooms.
- 2 additional rooms are available for non-teaching purposes, including a separate room for the Headmaster and staff.
- The premises are secured with a pucca (solid) boundary wall.
- Facilities include electricity, safe tap water, and separate functional toilets (4 for boys and 4 for girls).
- The school has a playground, a library with 200 books, and 4 functional computers with a Computer-Aided Learning Lab.
- A ramp ensures accessibility for differently-abled students.
Extra Care For Students
We offer remedial coaching classes from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM for students in Grades I to V who require academic support.
Interactive teaching aids and child-friendly methods are used to create a joyful and engaging learning environment.
